Admission Requirements

The mode of study shall be full time while enrolments shall be via any of the under-listed processes;

UTME Admissions

Admission to 100-Level is through the Joint Matriculation Examination. To be eligible for admission, candidates must have the Ordinary Level of General Certificate of Education (GCE) or Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) or National Examination Council (NECO) with at least five credit passes including Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and English Language at NOT more than two (2) sitting. A credit pass in either Biology or Agricultural Science, Further Mathematics or Technical Drawing as an advantage.

Direct Entry admission

Candidates for direct entry who fulfill the conditions in (i) and (ii) above and who also have additional passes of satisfactory grade at ‘A (Advanced)’level in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics may be considered into 200 level. For candidates through UTME, the programme shall be for a continuous duration of five (5) years while the duration of study for candidates through Direct Entry will be four (4) years with mandatory Eleven (11) months of Practical Work Experience & Exposure i.e. two months at the end of part II, three months at the end of part III and six months after the end of First Semester, part IV.
